Louis Pasteur, the inventor of pasteurization, once had to treat 350 people suffering rabies. Note, that was a time when rabies had no cure and Pasteur was still experimenting. But he and his scientists worked around the clock to save each one except for one little girl, Pelletier, who was in advanced condition and passed away in his hands. Louis took that one failure as seriously possible to discovering a complete cure for rabies.
A moment of failure while it can be very depressing and energy draining, can also be converted to something brilliant for humanity. What do you think?
